VersaBlue XN Series adhesive melters from Nordson Corporation dispense up to two different hot melt adhesives and offer holding capacities of 50, 100 and 200 liters. Coupled with a range of pump sizes and PLC system control choices, VersaBlue XN melters provide manufacturing flexibility in high-volume, high-speed nonwovens applications for disposable infant, feminine hygiene and adult incontinence products. Variable-speed AC motors, up to eight single-stream or eight dual-stream metering spur-gear pumps and control of remote metering stations and applicators meet specific delivery requirements. The grid and reservoir tank design reduces adhesive degradation and maximizes throughput. Users can select from an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix or Siemens S7 PLC for seamless production integration.
